An acoustic journey through the moonlit root kingdoms and fog-covered moss fields of the northern creatures of old folklore.

As the second full moon begins to shine her light on the world, the second album from Månskensdvärgar will be brought to light, "Trollskog" A over forty minute journey of lush, soothing ambient/synth soundscapes filled to the brim with the energy of ancestral folklore and the healing vibrations of the moon herself. Stretching across it’s near hour long duration, Månskensdvärgar takes us down among the rocks and roots, twigs and bones into the kingdom of the creatures of old folklore to showcase a forlorn world of folktales and beliefs from the old ways that are rarely seen by mortal eyes. The journey continues...

The cover for "Trollskog" is taken from John Bauers illustration for "Herr Birre och Trollen " (Mr. Birre and the trolls) by Vilhälm Nordin in "Bland tomtar och troll" (Among gnomes and trolls) from 1909.

The second LP is going to be released by the second full moon in 2021 digitaly on Bandcamp and all common plattforms and physical on 30 limited handcrafted "Stone Edition" Tape boxes and on 30 limited handcrafted "Snow Edition" Tape Boxes. 🌕
